David, a Chicago-based artist inspired by people watching and nightlife, has found a unique way to represent human interactions by depicting animals and their violent instincts. His paintings and collages seem intense and full of spontaneous energy, yet are skillfully balanced and well considered. He plays with non-traditional materials like crayons or construction paper, layering different textures and ideas in a single piece.
