The minute we stepped our feet in Queensland I had a feeling we've landed in paradise - it was like turning up saturation dial on everything around us - beaches felt grander, ocean was louder, forests were greener, food tasted better, rain fell harder and the sun burnt faster. Even our airbnb was just too perfect to be true - a beautiful house in Newell, sitting right on the ocean, with a huge deck overlooking the beach, where we had breakfasts while watching the sun rise every morning. The beauty of Queensland is forever engraved in my memory.
